DANGER:

Inflict painful stings that can be fatal to those with allergies, and, with certain
Scorpion species, to small children and the elderly.

DESCRIPTION

Some species can be as big as 2 to 4 inches long, or about the length of a standard
Business card; have large pincers and long, curled tails tipped with stingers.

HABITAT:

Prefer dark, protected areas – often in and around structures – in warm regions.
They are able to enter homes in many areas.

LOCATION:

Through out the southern United States, from coast to coast, Mexico and Central America.
